- About Jennifer Ridolfi -
Jennifer Ridolfi, a naturalist and a teacher, has worked in many areas including National park Ranger, TAFE teacher, tourism manager, wife and mother.
She has always had dreams - of owning a property with rainforest-to rescue and treat native wildlife and to own horses and cattle.
Six years ago she found a run down 100 acre property at Mena Creek in
North Queensland. She has built the property
up to a beautiful farm retreat and of course she has her collection of
animals-even a baby pig who has just had his sixth birthday.
Misty Valley is a wildlife sanctuary-dedicated to "Bea" & "Buddy" her little orphan wallabies and to the little striped possum who touched her heart.... and was the instigator of her striped possum logo. She now has many orphan wallabies, some in care and many released on her farm.
She has set up and developed The PATHWAYS Touch Treatment & Training Programs which are held on week-ends or private arrangements during the week at her retreat on the farm.
She has published "Information for Tour Guides - Art of Guiding books aimed at various locations in North Queensland and also her calendar - "Little Pig Collection".
